US privacy rights

Rights available to residents of US states under the CCPA/CPRA and comparable laws, and our position on the sale and sharing of personal information.
1. We do not sell or share your personal information
Buildinghost does not sell personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising as those terms are defined in the CCPA/CPRA. We have not done so in the preceding 12 months either.
There is nothing to opt out of, because no such transfer takes place. We work with no ad networks, run no analytics tools, and the only third party embedded on the site is the YouTube video, which loads only after an explicit action by you.
2. Global Privacy Control (GPC)
GPC is a browser-level signal meaning “do not sell or share my personal information”. We detect it, but it changes nothing here: there is no sale or share for it to switch off.

3. Categories of personal information collected
Over the past 12 months we have collected the following categories, all of them directly from you or from your employer:

4. Your rights
Depending on the state you live in, you have the following rights. Exercising them is free and requires no explanation:
- The right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it.
- The right to a copy of your data in a portable format.
- The right to correct inaccurate data.
- The right to have your data deleted.
- The right to opt out of sale or sharing — not applicable here, as neither takes place.
- The right to limit the use of sensitive personal information — we collect none.
5. Non-discrimination
We will not deny you service, change its price or quality, or otherwise put you at a disadvantage because you exercised any of these rights.
6. Authorised agents
You may submit a request through an authorised agent. We require written authorisation and confirmation from you before acting on it — that is an identity check, not an obstacle.
7. Appeals
If we refuse your request we will state the reason, and you can appeal directly from the “Privacy and data” screen. We respond to appeals within 45 days.
If the appeal is also refused, you have the right to complain to your state Attorney General. We will include their contact details in our response.
8. How to exercise your rights
Submit a request from the Privacy and data screen in your account, or write to privacy@buildinghost.eu. We respond within 45 days, which may be extended once where necessary.
